Vegan protein induces the worst kind of adjectives: Powdery. Chalky. Grainy. “Where’s the whey?”, I hear you say. Before this turns into a poor attempt at a anti-plant grime verse, let me tell you that the tables have turned, my friend.

Introducing: Form Nutrition Vegan Protein. The most delicious, smooth and silky protein powder I have ever tried. Yes, more than whey, just without the cruelty. I am a woman obsessed. I have vanilla (delish) peanut butter chocolate (unreal) and salted caramel (just stop it) and I can’t shout about them enough. Whether you’re vegan or non vegan, and you like taking a protein supplement – this is your guy!

Not satisfied with simply blending 2 scoops of the powder with icy water post booty-blast (although this tastes great), I have created a green smoothie bowl recipe. I have this for breakfast after a work-out and it’s perfect. The texture is heavenly against the crunch of the toppings and it keeps me full for a good 3 hours (which is a MARVEL on a plant based diet).

Recipe:
2 frozen bananas
2 scoops of Form Nutrition vanilla protein (this is non-negotiable)
1/4 cucumber
1/2 avocado
Small handful of spinach/kale
Splash of plant mylk (I like Plenish cashew)

Method:
1. Pop all of the ingredients into a NutriBullet or blender
2. Blend for about a minute. The mixture should be quite stiff and not runny
3. Tip the mixture into a bowl
and garnish with any toppings you fancy! I like fresh/frozen/dried fruit, nuts, buckwheat groats, flaxseeds – the world is your oyster! Go crazy! LIVE YOUR TRUE LAIFE.
