A very sarcastic Miranda Priestly once said: ‘Florals for Spring. Groundbreaking’. But believe me when I say, she only had high praise for embroidered denim jackets on Granny’s curtain dresses.
Not only is this high neck midi dress super flattering and affordable, it also makes the perfect transitional piece from Spring to Summer. You can layer it up on colder days, but it’s also the kind of thing that would be perfect for a festival in mid-summer. Swap out the converse in favour of Biker boots and HELLO GLASTO.
And yes, that’s a cheeky fishnet sock. I’m yet to go full fishnet tight vibes a la Kylie Jenner, but who knows what’ll happen when Mercury hits retrograde.
As you may be able to tell from the pics, this dress and denim jacket makes me all kinds of happy. This is the kind of outfit that I want to wear, every single day, for the rest of the decade.
I just love the embroidery at the back against the floral pattern of the dress. Hello and welcome to CLASH CENTRAL STATION. All clash kweenz are welcome here.
And hiya mate, cheeky little cut-out detail at the back. How are ya?
Big thanks to Miles Drury for all these glorious pics.
