This is a recipe dedicated to my very own, real life unicorn, Becca D. I made this for her as a Christmas present last year. Becca is your classic millennial multi-hyphenate (presenter-DJ-model-drummer-stylist-part-time-video-producer-full-time-unicorn). As a result, she’s often being pulled in a million different directions and sometimes so busy she doesn’t have any time for herself to chill TF out. Sound familiar, kweenz? Enter, my unicorn bath salts.
What’s great about this recipe, is you’ll find most of the ingredients will already be in your kitchen. You can omit the epsom salts, although they’re really easy to find on amazon. I would really recommend finding some dried lavender, it takes the depth of smell to another level and the purple looks SO super-cute next to the pink of the himalayan sea salt.
You can watch me making these with Tastemade, HERE.
2 tbsp of coarse sea salt
2 tbsp of himalayan rock salt
2 tbsp of epsom salts
2 tbsp of baking soda
A few springs of dried lavender
10 drops of lavender essential oil
1 lemon (to serve)
Mix all the ingreidents in a bowl and store in an airtight container.
When you’re ready for your bath, mix a tablespoon of the mixture with fresh lemon juice and pour into the bath.
